Stairs to the Sea

A bright and foggy morning on the California coast. Instead of heading up to Wedding Rock, I went down to the base, but stopped on the stairs to admire the view.

Had some fun on the California coast during 4th of July, trying to capture the waves hitting the rocks in various ways. Even got wet a few times when that one wave crashed harder than I thought it would.

A Matter of Perspective

Hiking around the rocks at the beach, I found this spot that reminded me of a valley between large mountains with a lake, on a smaller scale. Then again that scale is all just a matter of perspective.
