Mt. Rainier is pretty amazing, even at a range of more than 60 miles (from where I was in line of sight). It feels like it is right there with you, every where you go up here in the PacNW.
The skies were mainly clear and blue yesterday evening, with only a slight haze of a few clouds over Redmond. As I drove towards Duvall, the Western sky began to explode with colors and wispy clouds. I didn't expect that at all, and raced up Highway 203 to find "the" spot to capture the moment.
