This particular spot has never been a joy to go through. In fact, I hate this part of the road. A lot. Not that you can tell any of that from this photo. What you can't see, is an active moo cow dairy farm on both sides, just outside the frame. And it smells. Really bad. Today though, I don't know that I noticed all that much.
From the moment I stepped out on to the beach at Lake Wenatchee and saw these two trees in this position, centered between the mountains, I was sold. There were so many ways my eyes went when looking at this scene.
Only once a year do these two get together, the falls and Fall.
