The skies were mainly clear and blue yesterday evening, with only a slight haze of a few clouds over Redmond. As I drove towards Duvall, the Western sky began to explode with colors and wispy clouds. I didn't expect that at all, and raced up Highway 203 to find "the" spot to capture the moment.
Damage from the 2018 Carr Fire and this is the fallout in some of the more severe areas. These hills were once covered in thick Manzanita and Oak trees, and now you can see for days.
