Who am I?
I live in the beautiful Pacific NW with my family. During the day I spend my time helping to keep watch on a large gaming network, writing automation and being immersed in all things technical and analytical. I've always had a very creative side to compliment my technical skills and in the last ten years or so, I picked up photography. It is my creative outlet and my time away that allows me to do what I want and create things, without technical or political boundaries.
What is your favorite subject?
I really enjoy landscapes, followed by architecture. I do on occasion take portraits (engagement/maternity/baby/kids parties/etc) for family, friends and others who ask.
How much of your work is Photoshop'd/Edited?
Everyone edits. I try really hard to get it right, in camera, while I'm there in the moment. Not only does that make it easier when I get home, as I'm only fixing the things the camera technology isn't great at yet, but I prefer to give the user the view I saw when taking the photo (unless obviously and purposely stylized otherwise).
What kind of gear do you use?
> Canon EOS 5D Mark IV (the Mark III took a nasty fall, R.I.P)
> (Canon EOS 5DsR for special occasions)
> Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM
> Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L II IS USM
> Sigma 50mm f/1.4 ART
> Canon EF 1.4x III Extender
> Induro Carbon Fiber tripod w/ Acratech ballhead
> LEE Filters

!! Notice !!
I am not the "Rob Watts" portrait photographer form Hendersonville, TN, who closed up shop due to bad business. His FB page is still live, but the business is long dead. I bought the domain he used to use, which may have brought you here.
